From subscription management software to monetization, Zuora helps today’s innovative companies nurture and monetize direct digital relationships. Goodbye, product economy. Hello to subscriber freedom.
I worked on Zuora’s Subscribed conferences held in San Francisco, New York, London, and Paris. They wanted to showcase the future of their Subscription Economy while also promoting the founder’s new book. To achieve this, we created an interactive multi-room experience that invited the attendees to explore, converse, and share in an immersive way.

Conference Branding
For a conference, branding of a location is everything. Multiple levels, rooms, and objects had to be covered with the company’s visual design. We wanted attendees to know how vast the subscription industries go and feel like it was an exciting new movement that was happening all around them.
The Experience Rooms
The San Francisco conference had a showcase designed to be like an art gallery that was composed of cloth panels and divided into seven sections. Each section represented a different industry, showing the evolution in which the subscription model has played a major part in. This meant coming up with a unique artistic physical display to help bring the story to life beyond a text-based narrative.
From graphic mosaics to hand-drawn illustrations to a silent disco cloud corner, creativity was at the heart of the exhibit. Experimentation was not only welcomed, but also encouraged.
The impact
In the end, we created immersive worlds through our various vibrant designs for the thousands of attendees, sparking curiosity and conversation while making the experience both dynamic and informative for everyone.
