HoneyBook is a client management platform primarily used by independent businesses to help streamline tasks like managing client communication, creating contracts, scheduling appointments, and more. 

As a contract graphic designer on the Creative Marketing team, I helped design their Clientflow process, launch their podcast, and leverage the graphics for multiple partnerships, among other projects.

Clientflow

In late 2023, HoneyBook members faced a challenge: they were getting overwhelmed and confused by their work system. To help organize and optimize their process, I worked with a cross-functional team to develop Clientflow, a system that allows members to see their entire journey and workflow in selling and delivering services to their clients. I also designed the accompanying workbook that was shared with members as well as distributed at conferences and workshops.

The impact

Once mapped, Clientflow helped members eliminate and automate steps to increase business efficiency, improve clients' experiences, and enhance revenue growth. Moreover, members who used it felt they had more visibility into their overall business structure.

Independent Business Podcast

On April 11, 2013, HoneyBook launched their first podcast series: Independent Business (later rebranded to Unbreakable Business). From top creators, authors, researchers, and entrepreneurs, the host dives deep into their first-hand experiences to empower small business owners. I worked on developing the visual language of the launch, creating the graphic assets for streaming platforms, YouTube channel, and all social media channels.

Brand Partnerships

To provide added value for its members, HoneyBook frequently integrates strategic partners into its platform, offering tools, resources, and services. For these partnerships, I collaborated with internal teams to develop and execute a cohesive visual campaign. This includes designing graphics for the website, blog posts, email marketing, and social media channels, ensuring consistent branding and clear communication across all touch points.

The impact

These partnerships empower HoneyBook members to grow their businesses and build meaningful connections. Balancing the company’s brand identity with each partner can be an intricate challenge, but through thoughtful design, we’re able to guide members with clear, compelling storytelling across every touchpoint.
